Spring King Reveal Video For The Summer

Thursday, 09 June 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Spring King have revealed a video for The Summer.

The track is taken from the Manchester four-piece's debut album, 'Tell Me If You Like To', which is due for release on June 10 via Island Records. Discussing the Isaac Eastgate-directed visual, the band said:

"We wanted the video to reflect the darker, surreal side of summers growing up."

Spring King will play two album launch shows, one tonight at New Slang in Kingston and another tomorrow at Manchester's Band On The Wall. They will also make the rounds on the festival circuit this summer, making stops at Blissfields, T In The Park, Leefest, Reading and Leeds, and Bestival, among many others.

The band will hit the road again this autumn and sandwich a set at Cardiff’s Sŵn Festival with shows in Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Stoke, Nottingham, Oxford, Portsmouth, Brighton, Bristol and London during October. Tickets are on sale at 10am on June 10.
