Clean Cut Kid have shared a new single, We Used To Be In Love.
The track shares its title with the band's new EP, which is due out on August 2. Discussing the song, which is out now, singer Mike Halls said:
“One of the most heart shattering things about breaking up with someone is how this person, who used to be at the centre of your whole universe, is suddenly no more a part of your life than a distant stranger. 'We Used To Be In Love' is about passing that person in the street and wanting to scream "DON'T YOU REMEMBER WHAT WE USED TO FEEL FOR EACH OTHER?!?!"
The single follows the announcement that the quartet will embark on a headline UK tour this autumn, calling in Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton, London, Nottingham and Oxford between October 19 and 30. Tickets are on sale now.
