Thursday, 21 July 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Temple Of The Dog will head out on tour for the first time this autumn in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their self titled debut album.

The Soundgarden-Pearl Jam supergroup, featuring Chris Cornell, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron, will reunite to play five shows, with stops planned in Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle between November 4 and 20. Speaking about the reunion shows, Cornell said:

"We wanted to do the one thing we never got to do… play shows and see what it feels like to be the band that we walked away from 25 years ago. This is something no one has ever seen."

Prior to the shows, a reissue of their self titled debut, featuring demos, unheard tracks and a complete remix by producer Brendan O’Brien, is expected to be released on September 30. Tickets are on general sale at noon on July 29.
