The Cribs Announce Intimate 'The New Fellas' Era London Show

Wednesday, 17 August 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

The Cribs have announced plans to play a one off London show in September.

The Wakefield trio will perform music from the era of their 2005 album, 'The New Fellas', at the Oval Space in Hackney on September 1, following the cancellation of their headline slot at 1234 Festival in London. The band confirmed the news with the following post on their Facebook page:

"OK PEOPLE, THIS IS HAPPENING! A one-off, old-skool show in an intimate setting. Classic 2005 era setlist. The Oval Space, Hackney - 1st September. Tickets go on sale at 6PM SHARP from billetto.co.uk/en/events/the-cribs. First come first served.

"This show is for everyone that was disappointed that our headline slot at 1-2-3-4 Festival got cancelled. We were really looking forward to playing London and seeing all you lot, so we wanted to come up with something special to make up for it. In the same vein as the Wichiten show in 2010, or the Cribsmas shows of 2007 and 2013, we will be playing a setlist straight outta our classic New Fellas touring era. It's gonna be a blast."

Tickets are on sale at 6pm on August 17, priced at £15.00 plus fees.

The Cribs Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Thu September 01 2016 - LONDON Oval
Fri September 02 2016 - BATH Komedia
