Spring King Post Video For Detroit

Thursday, 01 September 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Spring King have posted a video for Detroit.

The track is cut from the Manchester four-piece's debut album, 'Tell Me If You Like To', which came out in June via Island Records.

Discussing the visual, which is the first of two new clips, director Jack Whiteley said:

"Hosted by cult Greek television star Konstantinos Nestoridis and starring the band as the contestants, Detroit is at once a nod to 90s TV nostalgia, a Brexit backlash and a coming of age drama that asks the question: How deep is Euro love?”

The band will appear at Jersey Live before playing a one-off show at Southampton's Joiners prior to their sets at Bestival and Always The Sun Festival in September. Following that, they will hit the road for a headline autumn tour, sandwiching a set at Cardiff’s Sŵn Festival with shows in Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Stoke, Nottingham, Oxford, Portsmouth, Bristol, Brighton and London during October.
