Black Honey have shared their debut video, Hello Today.
The single follows their 'Headspin' EP, which came out in April. Check out the clip, and a statement from the band, below.
"OUR FIRST EVER VIDEO IS FINALLY HERE
I think every artist's dream is to have their vision (as weird/ removed/obscure as it is) fully realised. No compromise & no complaint.
For the last two years we have been asked almost daily "why have you not done a video?" The truth is we tried... twice....but needed more time, money & support to make a story that we felt matched exactly what's inside my head. We can't believe we're saying this but this summer we finally got a shot at the vision. I flew to Joshua tree desert to shoot a story I had written in my journal just a few weeks earlier. Hello Today is about a girl trying to put her demons behind her.
So here it is Honeys our first ever video!!!!!! Directed by foxy powerhouseNadia Lee for your viewing pleasure! Feels so fucking good!"
The Brighton four-piece are currently on tour in the UK, with shows left in Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds. They will also appear at Rockaway Beach on October 7.
