The track is taken from their most recent album 'Pile', which came out in May via Merge Records. Discussing the clip, director Daniel Ralston said:
“The song ‘Jizzney’ is about an unhealthy obsession, and the video is about the same thing. A weirdo walks into the band’s world collecting souvenirs that lead him to the edge of a swimming pool with a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. I think A Giant Dog are the best kind of weirdos. The kind you’d want to hang out with. I wanted to get that into the video. Filming them play a show in their hometown of Austin was a true joy, and they were incredibly cool to work with.”
The Austin band will play shows in the UK and Ireland this December, as part of a wider European trek. Tickets are on sale now.
