The Joy Formidable Release New EP 'Sleep Is Day'

Monday, 10 October 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

The Joy Formidable have released a new EP, 'Sleep Is Day'.

The record includes Liana, a track from their third album, 'Hitch', which came out in March, as well as two acoustic songs, covers of the Misfits, David Bowie and Kongos, and the title track. Discussing it, singer Ritzy Bryan said:

“We had some beautiful live recordings of tracks from ‘Hitch’ that we’d done acoustically, I think they were the building blocks of this EP. Then things got dangerous when we started dabbling with a few covers.”

The band has also announced a new Pledge project in aid of the Sumatran Orangutan Society. Head here for more information.

The Joy Formidable Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed November 30 2016 - LONDON Islington Assembly Hall
