The track is the first taste of the Australian indie pop quartet's forthcoming third album, the follow up to 2015’s 'Gracetown', which they are currently working on and which is expected to arrive in early 2017.
Discussing the song, vocalist Jordi Davieson said:
“SloMo was the first song we wrote as a band after Gracetown. We wanted to create a song that made people want to move”.
