Vanishing Life Share New Song Thinking Is Weightless

Wednesday, 02 November 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Vanishing Life have shared Thinking Is Weightless, a new track from their debut album.

The band, which features Walter Schreifels, of Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits and Rival Schools, Rise Against guitarist Zach Blair, Bad Religion drummer Jamie Miller and Autry Fulbright of …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, will release 'Surveillance' digitally on November 11 through Dine Alone Records, with a UK physical release set to follow on November 25.

Discussing the song, Schreifels said:

“John Lennon said, ‘thinking is weightless’, or maybe I wrote it, I don’t remember, but I wrote his name down next to it in my notes. I like this phrase because can be read it two very divergent ways, one, a zen ‘be here now’ type mantra, or it could also be an urgent alarm like “soylent green is people!”
