Falls Cancel November Tour Dates

Wednesday, 16 November 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Falls have been forced to cancel their UK tour dates, including November shows with We Are Carnivores, due to vocalist Martin Gallagher being hospitalised.

We Are Carnivores will continue to play shows at Percy's in Whitchurch on November 19 and the Frog in Worksop on November 25, with dates in Newcastle, Dundee, Glasgow, Dunfermline, Hull, Derby and Falls' headlining show in London cancelled. Gallagher said:

"Firstly, I just want to say sorry to We Are Carnivores and Discord Agency, who both put together a great run of shows and us idiots in Falls were really looking forward to heading out to party. Unfortunately when a doctor from our beloved NHS tells you that you're rocking a muscular and skeletal tear over your heart, and you've got to rest up: you rest up! We all want to thank and apologise to the promoters, fans and venues who were on board with us, we hope to see you soon, we love your faces x"

Those who have already purchased tickets for the shows have been advised to contact their point of purchase. Falls' forthcoming EP, 'Cream', is due for release on December 2 through the band's own label Naughty Strawberry.
