Saxon Join Skindred As Steelhouse Festival Headliners

Wednesday, 23 November 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Saxon will join Skindred as headliners of next summer's Steelhouse festival.

The British heavy metal stalwarts will bring their full 'Eagle' production to south Wales on July 30, joining Saturday headliners Skindred, with Inglorious, Stone Broken and Broken Witt Rebels also confirmed to perform across the weekend. Speaking about the booking, festival promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said:

"It's an honour to have metal icons, Saxon return to Steelhouse. Their 2013 headline performance is hands down one of the most memorable ever to have taken place on The Mountain. It really raised the bar in terms of production and we’re delighted the band have agreed to bring it back. This will be the only opportunity to see this production at a UK festival so it’s going to be a very special show...The Eagle lands again at the Steelhouse Festival!"

Steelhouse Festival returns to its mountain top location at Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm in Ebbw Vale between July 29 and 30. More acts are to be confirmed over the coming months, including two special guests.

Steelhouse Festival Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat July 29 2017 - EBBW VALE Hafod Y Dafal Farm
Sun July 30 2017 - EBBW VALE Hafod Y Dafal Farm
