Meilyr Jones has won the Welsh Music Prize for his debut solo album, '2013'
The Welsh art-pop artist, formerly of Race Horses, saw off competition from 9Bach, Alan Gaffey, the Anchoress, Cate Le Bon, Climbing Trees, Datblygu, Plu, Right Hand Left Hand, Simon Love, Skindred and Sŵnami to take home the award at the Depot in Cardiff.
Gwenno won the Welsh Music Prize in 2015 for her album 'Y Dydd Olaf'.
