Wolf Alice And Friends Add Bands 4 Refugees Matinee Show

Monday, 28 November 2016 Written by Huw Baines

Wolf Alice and friends have added a matinee show in support of Help Refugees.

Bands 4 Refugess will be held at Kamio in London, with the matinee falling on December 4 and an evening date the following night. Wolf Alice will be joined by members from Years and Years, Dream Wife, Alt-J, Black Honey, Slaves, the Magic Gang, Spectator, Bloody Knees, Swim Deep, Peace and Superfood for a set of covers.

“We wanted to bring together musicians to stand in solidarity with refugees and to raise money for Help Refugees during their winter campaign CHOOSE LOVE,” Wolf Alice’s  Ellie Rowsell said. “Inspired be seeing Peace and Superfood collaborate in a one-off show of covers, we thought it would be so fun to do the same with some of our favourite musicians.”

Tickets for the matinee are on sale through Dice from tomorrow. Faithless, Jon Hopkins, Shadow Child, Chase & Status, Rudimental, Sigma and Shy FX, meanwhile, will feature across two Rave For Refugees shows at the Electric Brixton on December 8 and 15, with Jamie Cullum set to play the Jazz Cafe on December 4.

Bands 4 Refugees Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Sun December 04 2016 - LONDON Kamio
Mon December 05 2016 - LONDON Kamio
