Mortiis Confirm March UK Tour, Announce Remix Album 'The Great Corrupter'

Mortiis have announced plans to tour the UK this spring, alongside details of a double remix album entitled ‘The Great Corrupter’.
Following on from last year’s ‘The Great Deceiver’, ‘The Great Corrupter’, which contains tracks from the previous record, deconstructed and "corrupted" by Godflesh, Die Krupps, Merzbow, John Fryer, In Slaughter Natives and many more, is set to arrive on April 21 through Omnipresence Records.
Ahead of the release the band will hit the road for nine co-headline shows with PIG, kicking off on March 10 in Nottingham and winding up eight days later at north London's Garage. Speaking about the Swine & Punishment tour, Mortiis, aka Håvard Ellefsen, said:
"We always have a great time in the UK, so being able to go out on tour there again, and with old heroes PIG no less, makes it even more exciting! What makes this tour even more special, to me personally anyway, is the fact that we just remixed each other. PIG are on our upcoming remix album 'The Great Corrupter' so it´s a double whammy!"
