Pulled Apart By Horses Announce March Release For New Album 'The Haze', Share Title Track

Pulled Apart By Horses will release their fourth album this spring.
'The Haze', which was recorded and produced by Ross Orton in Sheffield, is set to arrive on March 17 via Caroline International and follow up 2014's 'Blood'.
Discussing the record, bassist Robert Lee said:
“With the third album (2014’s Blood), we were making a conscious effort to think about everything and really analyse what makes good songs work.
This time around we wanted to get back to the spontaneity of the first record, to just hang out and have fun and see what happened, so we wanted to take ourselves away from our usual practise room, find a new space, both literally and metaphorically, and just immerse ourselves in music for fun once again.”
He continued to explain new drummer Tommy Davidson's influence:
“One of the biggest influences in writing this new album was the new line up. We've known Tommy for many years, and he’s created a whole new level of creative spirit within the band.”
Vocalist/guitarist Tom Hudson added:
“Tommy has a different style of drumming – he’s a bit more hard-hitting, like a Dave Grohl/John Bonham type – and so that changed the dynamics. He probably felt like he had something to prove, and in terms of creativity and pushing ourselves, his presence really made everyone step up.”

The quartet will follow up the record's release with a UK tour, calling in Oxford, London, Bristol, Southampton, Birmingham, Norwich, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle, before ending the trek with a hometown show at the Brudenell Social Club on April 8. Tickets are on sale now.
