Procol Harum have announced details of their new album, 'Novum'.
The British band, led by founding member Gary Brooker, will put out their 13th studio LP and follow up to 2003's 'The Well's On Fire' on April 21 through Eagle Records. Speaking about the record, Brooker said:
"Our last studio album was in 2003 and with 2017 being 50 years of Procol Harum, something special was needed, which has resulted in a new album of new songs with the band as we’ve stood for the past decade, all contributing with producer Dennis Weinreich to make what I believe to be one of the finest Procol Harum albums ever."
They'll accompany the release with a 50th anniversary tour, which sees the band head out for eight dates across the UK in spring, including London shows at the Royal Festival Hall and the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
