Holding Absence Line Up Headline Tour Around We Are The Ocean And Blood Youth Support Dates

Wednesday, 15 February 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

Holding Absence have lined up a headline tour around their dates supporting We Are The Ocean and Blood Youth this spring.

The rising Cardiff band have planned shows in Cheltenham, Norwich, Peterborough, Oxford, Hull, Newcastle, Birmingham, Bedford, Nottingham, Cambridge, Leicester and Chester with a hometown performance at Clwb Ifor Bach confirmed on April 13. Frontman Lucas Woodland said:

"We're very happy to be back on the road this March and April! In 2016 we played just under 30 shows in six months, and this year we're really gunning to try to hit triple figures. We really want to take advantage of all the opportunities that are presenting themselves to us this year, and to prove to everyone through our hard work, that these opportunities are merited. 20 shows in 30 days is definitely a good way to kick things off! We're also very excited to be sharing the stage with some great bands - We Are The Ocean, Blood Youth and Loathe - as well as some other very exciting unannounced acts. We can't wait."

Having just announced their signing to Nuclear Blast imprint Sharptone Records, the band support We Are The Ocean at the Essex band's three farewell shows in mid March before joining Blood Youth and Loathe in April.
