Swans Confirm Spring UK Tour, Announce 'The Great Annihilator' Reissue

Swans will return to the UK in May.
The band will precede their previously confirmed date at London's Roundhouse on May 27 and an appearance at Manchester's Transformer festival on May 28 with shows in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham and Bristol. Tickets are on sale at 9am on February 24, priced £20.00/£23.50/£25.00 plus fees.
The band have also announced a remastered reissue of their ninth studio album, 'The Great Annihilator', which will arrive on April 28 on Mute. The album, which was originally released in 1995, will be packaged on double vinyl and as a two CD set. Both the vinyl and CD will feature 'Drainland', Swans mainman Michael Gira’s debut solo album, which was recorded at the same time as 'The Great Annihilator'.
