Fránçois and the Atlas Mountains have shared a lyric video for a new track, 1982.
The song is lifted from their new album, 'Solide Mirage', which is due for release on March 3 through Domino Records. Regarding the track, frontman Fránçois Marry said:
“I wanted to dedicate a song to those who were born in the early eighties. They were teenagers without mobile phones, and they built their identity in between two generations: the utopian generation (their parents) and the younger pragmatic generation (born in the nineties onward) who are more at ease with computers and the confusion of a highly connected lifestyle.”
The French four-piece will support the record with a European and UK tour, which will include stops in London, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Norwich between March 27 and 31.
We spoke with Marry earlier this month about 'Solide Mirage'. Head here to read the interview.
