The Physics House Band Set Up May Tour, Share Calypso Video

Wednesday, 22 March 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

The Physics House Band have confirmed six UK dates as part of a European tour this spring.

The Brighton band, who will call in Darwen, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton and London, where they'll play the Kamio, have also shared the video for Calypso, a track from their upcoming debut album 'Mercury Fountain', which arrives on April 21 through Small Pond. Speaking about the video, bassist Adam Hutchinson said:

"We wanted to make something that was a strong mix of beautiful visuals, and the live performance element that has always been a an important part of our band. Jake and I experimented with shooting coloured inks into spinning water, filming my obscene 70s shirts on a turntable, covering fruit with gold and silver paint. We then shot all the live performance parts at Fire Eye Land in Kent, and I cut it all together to make a freaky psychedelic mess."

The Physics House Band Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sun May 07 2017 - DARWEN Sunbird Records
Mon May 08 2017 - GLASGOW Hug and Pint
Tue May 09 2017 - LEEDS Brudenell Social Club
