Happyness have posted a new track, Bigger Glass Less Full.
The song will feature on their forthcoming sophomore album, 'Write In', which is set to arrive on April 7 through Moshi Moshi and follow up 2014's 'Weird Little Birthday'.
In a statement about the track, the band said:
"Bigger Glass started with an oblique strategy that we learnt from Terry Gilliam: apparently he made "Brazil" without ever reading 1984. We were trying to sound like a Pierre Cavalli song we'd heard once a very long time ago. It couldn't sound less similar if we'd tried... We added the acoustics when we were in LA mixing with Adam Lasus - as of now the only thing we've ever recorded outside the UK."
The London trio will support the new record with a UK and Ireland tour, which will include their biggest headline London show to date at the Tufnell Park Dome on April 28 and a stop at Leicester's Handmade Festival on April 30, following which they will head to Europe.
