The track is the first to be taken from the Australian vocalist's forthcoming debut album, which is expected to arrive later this year through Virgin EMI.
Discussing the song, Maple said:
“I wrote this song for the lovers, the fighters, the broken hearted, the wild ones, the shy girl, for anyone who has ever felt like running naked into the wilderness with no purpose except to be free. I wanted this song to be a celebration of acceptance, love, freedom and spirit. It is about letting go, finding pleasure in imperfections, celebrating community rather than battling ego, embracing sexuality in all forms, expelling stereotypes and tearing off the shackles that hold us back.”
Maple will play a headline show at Birthdays in London on May 18. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £8.00. She will also appear at The Great Escape in Brighton on May 20.
