Slotface Confirm Autumn Headline Tour, Announce Debut Album 'Try Not To Freak Out'

Sløtface have announced autumn UK shows as part of a world tour supporting their debut album, 'Try Not To Freak Out'.
With the record due on September 15, the Norweigian quartet will follow the release with shows in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, York, Hull, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nottingham, Southampton, Plymouth, Bristol, Brighton and London between September 29 and October 25. Tickets are on sale at 9am on May 1.

“I really wanted to write a killer breakup song, but I’ve never really had any experience with heartbreaking, devastating, aggressive breakups, so I thought I would write a breakup song about breaking up with bad body image and unrealistic representations of human bodies in media. It's fuelled by the back and forth of knowing that society creates unrealistic expectations regarding what people "should" look like, and still feeling uncomfortable in your own skin because you don't live up to those images.”

Prior to the run, the band join the Cribs as main support on their upcoming Men's Needs, Women's Needs, FOREVER UK tour following their current dates with Los Campesinos! and sets at the Great Escape festival in Brighton next month. They also make appearances at 2000Trees, Truck festival and Reading and Leeds this summer.
