Liars Announce New Album And Share Teaser Tracks

Friday, 19 May 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

A new Liars album is due this summer.

After amicably parting ways with Aaron Hemphill, Angus Andrew returned to his native Australia to begin work on the new record, which he has announced will be released in August. Discussing the new material, he said:

"My favourite feeling is going into the complete unknown. What's the point in making something you know you can? My goal was to make creative decisions that keep me awake at night.”

Andrew has shared a YouTube playlist of clips from the album and advised fans to follow it for updates about the record.

Liars will return to the UK in August for Visions Festival, Stirling's Doune The Rabbit Hole and Green Man festival in the Brecon Beacons. The shows will see Andrew joined by a touring band.
