Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Mvula And Florence Welch Among Ivor Novello Winners

Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Mvula and Florence Welch were among the winners at the Ivor Novello awards.
The ceremony took place last night at Grosvenor House in London. Kiwanuka took home Best Song Musically and Lyrically for Black Man in a White World, Mvula saw off competition from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Kiwanuka to win the Album Award for 'The Dreaming Room', and Welch was honoured with the International Achievement award.
Meanwhile, Skepta was awarded Songwriter of the Year, Best Contemporary Song went to Skepta and Josh Homme for Man, Coldplay took home PRS for Music Most Performed Work for Hymn for the Weekend, Nitin Sawhney received the Lifetime Achievement award and Gary Numan picked up the Ivors Inspiration Award.
