The track is lifted from their sophomore album, 'GN', the follow up to 'AOID', which is due for release on June 30 through Topshelf Records.
Introducing the song on their Facebook page, vocalist and guitarist Julia Steiner said:
"Westside is track 3 on 'GN', and it's my favorite song on the record. it started out as a stream-of-consciousness writing exercise where I pressed record and just played spontaneously, kinda composing a song on the spot. the lyrics that came out were strange and grieving something. the song feels very real to me. it feels like wandering, but playing it makes me feel less lost."
This summer the band will play shows in the US and Canada with Pet Symmetry and Mother Evergreen.
