The track is from their 12th studio album, 'The Serenity of Suffering', which was released in October. Discussing it with Noisey, who premiered the video, frontman Jonathan Davis said:
"'Black Is The Soul' is a song about being pulled away from the right path and the video reflects that experience of trying to navigate those conflicting emotions."
Guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer added:
"I feel that this songwriting and production paired with the aesthetic look of the video shows a maturity and growth from the band that is continually evolving."
The metal legends will return to the UK next month for a headline London show prior to their set at Reading and Leeds. They have also lined up The Serenity Of Summer US tour, which kicks off on on June 16 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
