Toothless Releases New 'Palm's' EP

Monday, 19 June 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Toothless has released the 'Palm's' EP.

The Bombay Bicycle Club bassist Ed Nash, who put out his debut solo LP, 'The Pace of Passing', in January has offered up a new record which features re-workings of tracks from his album, as well as a new song and a Sufjan Stevens cover.

Speaking about the record, Nash said:

"About this time last year me and some friends soundproofed the breezeblock shed at the back of my garden to use as a rehearsal and recording studio. Up until this point all the writing I had done for Toothless had taken place in my living room or other peoples more professional rooms.

“Since then with the new space, I’ve spent my time working on my production skills, experimenting with new sounds and generally enjoying making music. This EP is the result of that time.”

Following a short run of US dates, Toothless will appear at a number of festivals this summer, including Secret Garden Party and Reading and Leeds. He will also support Hippo Campus on their October UK tour.
