David Ramirez will release a new album this autumn.
'We’re Not Going Anywhere' is due to arrive on September 8 and follow up 2015's 'Fables'. Speaking about relocating to producer Sam Kassirer's Great North Sound Society studio in rural Maine to record the album, Ramirez said:
“It’s very secluded, which was part of the appeal. We were able to get out of our touring headspace and stay completely involved with the record and what we were doing. That allowed the band to concentrate on the music, to pursue ideas without distractions and misgivings, but it also removed them from the world during a momentous event.”
Listen to the record's first track, Watching From A Distance, below.
Prior to the record's release, the Texan singer-songwriter will head out on a UK tour, calling in Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham, St Albans and London between July 3 and 12.
