Lee Ranaldo Shares Video For New Thing Featuring Sharon Van Etten

Lee Ranaldo has shared a video for New Thing, which features Sharon Van Etten.
The track is taken from the Sonic Youth co-founder's forthcoming solo LP, 'Electric Trim', which is due to arrive on September 15 and follow up 2013's 'Last Night On Earth'.
In addition to Van Etten, who appears on six songs, the record also boasts appearances by Kid Millions (aka Man Forever) and Nels Cline (Wilco) and features his band the Dust, which consists of Sonic Youth's Steve Shelley, guitarist Alan Licht and bassist Tim Luntzel.
Filmmaker Fred Riedel filmed a documentary, HELLO HELLO HELLO : Lee Ranaldo : Electric Trim, about the year-long making of the record. Check out the trailer below.
