Girl Ray have shared a video for Don't Go Back At Ten.
The track features on their debut album, 'Earl Grey', which was released earlier this month through Moshi Moshi. We spoke with the band's vocalist and guitarist Poppy Hankin prior to the record's arrival. Head here to check out the chat.
Speaking about the video, bassist Sophie Moss said:
"Ever find yourself reclining in bed, when your thoughts turn to the profound? What if all the worlds grass was replaced with JT's frosted tips? What would the unborn child of Jennifer Anniston and Brad Pitt look like now? Or perhaps you just have the undying urge to gel those hairs of yours and kick back to some classic tunes from the top 40.
"This is an early 00's inspired video for our not very 00's inspired song Don't Go Back At Ten. Prepare your retinas for some greasy magic with themes of unity, friendship and heartbreak. We hope it will sate your throwback urges and leave you as satisfied as having witnessed the birth of little Chad/Melanie Aniston Pitt on a meadow of frosted grass."
The trio will appear at Sea Change Festival in Devon and Art Is Hard Presents: Hardly A Party at Bristol's Thekla this weekend. Next month they play End Of The Road and Good Life. Following that they hit the road again this autumn for a headline UK tour. Tickets are on sale now.
