Jake Shears, lead singer of Scissor Sisters, has shared a new solo single.
Creep City arrives ahead of his first New York show in five years at Elsewhere (Hall) on November 12 and his show at Heaven in London on November 14.
Scissor Sisters last released an album in 2012, 'Magic Hour', while Shears has a long list of collaborations on his resume, including Kylie Minogue, Queens Of The Stone Age, Cher and Bright Light Bright Light.
Introducing the new track on Facebook, he said:
"Hello Friends and Family! It’s been awhile. Like—a long while. But lord, I’ve been missing you guys. Like—REALLY MISSING YOU. I’ve missed playing shows for you in funky clothes that I look back later and say: “What in God’s name was I thinking?” I’ve missed sweating on the front row. I’ve missed everybody singing along and whooping it up. Above all else, I’ve missed putting out new music. And that, my dear friends, changes today! Let me introduce you to Creep City.
