Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds 40th Anniversary Tour Announced For 2018

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War Of The Worlds - Alive On Stage will be celebrated with a nationwide arena tour in autumn 2018.
Conducted by Jeff Wayne, with the nine piece Black Smoke Band and 36 piece ULLAdubULLA Strings, the production will make its return to arenas throughout the UK as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. Speaking about the new tour, Wayne said:
"In June 1978 my original double album was released. I had no idea if it would vanish as quickly as one can say… "ULLAdubULLA!" But here I am today, soon to be celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout 2018, culminating in what I believe will be the most exciting arena tour we’ve ever performed. No one would have believed…"
The full cast is set to be announced soon, while tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 24, priced from £46.00 + fees.
