Glen Hansard has shared a video for Roll On Slow, the opening track of his new LP.
'Between Two Shores', which arrives on January 19 via Anti-, follows up 2015’s 'Didn’t He Ramble' and his 2012 solo debut, 'Rhythm and Repose'.
Speaking about the video, director Piotr Kabat said:
“The video attempts to bridge the gap between animation and film. While it’s entirely hand-drawn, the organic and grainy look is inspired by classical movies shot on film. In terms of story we wanted to convey the vibe of a solo night out in New York. Getting kicked out of bars and hanging out in front of liquor stores ‘til sunrise just to escape from your own demons.”
The Irish singer-songwriter will support the record with a European tour, which will include a London show at Royal Festival Hall on February 9.
