Tom Waits' entire Elektra Asylum Records catalogue will be released this year.
His first seven albums, 'Closing Time', 'Heart Of Saturday Night', 'Nighthawks At The Diner', 'Small Change', 'Foreign Affairs', 'Blue Valentine', 'Heartattack & Vine', have been remastered and will be reissued by Anti-, on March 23 on CD and digitally on March 9. Vinyl releases are due to follow throughout the year.
Last year Anti- also reissued Waits' Grammy-nominated 'Bad As Me', 'Real Gone', 'Blood Money', and 'Alice' in November, and 'Glitter and Doom Live' and 'Mule Variations' in December. The three discs that make up 'Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards' are yet to have a release date confirmed, but are also expected this year.
Listen to Ol' 55, the opening track of 'Closing Time', below.
