Preoccupations Share Antidote Video

Tuesday, 13 February 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Preoccupations have shared a video for Antidote.

The track will feature on the Canadian post-punk band's upcoming album, 'New Material', which will arrive on March 23 via Jagjaguwar (Flemish Eye in Canada), while the video was co-directed by the band's Michael Wallace and Evan Pierce. Speaking about the track, vocalist Matt Flegel said:

"Antidote is about humans forgetting that we’re apes, it’s about trying to make sense out of something that we’d be better off not trying to make sense of. Its about having infinite knowledge at our fingertips, but still making all the wrong choices over and over. It’s about trying to find a moment in your day where you can take a breath and remember that we’re basically all just animals bumbling around."

The band will support the album's release with spring dates across North America, Europe and the UK, including stops in Ramsgate, Leeds and London.

Preoccupations Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Tue June 05 2018 - LONDON Village Underground
Tue June 12 2018 - RAMSGATE Music Hall
Wed June 13 2018 - LEEDS Brudenell Social Club
