Slowdive, George Fitzgerald And Crazy P Among New Acts Announced For Bluedot Festival

Slowdive and George Fitzgerald are among the new acts announced for Bluedot.

Also heading to the festival are Crazy P, Amber Arcades, Afriquoi, Nabihah Igbal, Boy Azooga, Late Night Tales DJs, Science In The House, Craig Charles' Space Funk Odyssey, Dub Pistols Outta Space DJ Set and Ana Matronic, who will host talks on 2001 Space Odyssey to celebrate the film's 50th anniversary. Many more acts have joined the bill, including names for an incredible science programme. Head here to check out the full line up to date.

The event will return to the Jodrell Bank Observatory between July 19 and 22, with the Halle Orchestra set to perform the concert version of the original Blue Planet score on the Thursday night. The Chemical Brothers, the Flaming Lips and Future Islands will headline the rest of the weekend.

The line up to date also features Public Service Broadcasting, Gary Numan, Little Dragon, Roni Size: New Forms Live, Gilles Peterson, Unkle, Booka Shade, the Orb, Adrian Sherwood, Mad Professor, Alexis Taylor, Nadine Shah, Hookworms, Baloji, Vessels, Lost Horizons, Langham Research Centre, Andy Smith’s Reach Up Disco Wonderland, Human After All (A Tribute To Daft Punk), Will Tramp, To Kill A King, Warm Digits, Snapped Ankles, Park Hotel, Akdk, Henge, Future Get Down, Husky Loops, Pink Kink, Jw Ridley, Pearl City, FEHM, Speakmansound, Space Cassette Takeover, Age Of Glass, Barberos and Talos 400.
