Amy Lawton has released a new song.
Hurts Like Paradise follows the release of her 2017 debut single, Undone. Discussing the track, she said:
"Hurts Like Paradise is a song I wrote when I was at school. It's kind of a story about a relationship from start to finish, only it's told from the perspective of someone who feels like they're an outsider. I like that there are details in the song which show this character as they talk about their experiences. Even though it's a sad song, I like to juxtapose sad lyrics with upbeat sounds."
Lawton will play two London shows in June, returning to Ronnie Scott’s on June 5 and the Lock Tavern, Camden on June 12. She also makes her first festival appearance at the Caffé Nero sessions at The Great Escape in Brighton on May 18.
Amy Lawton Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Tue June 05 2018 - LONDON Ronnie Scotts
Tue June 12 2018 - LONDON Lock Tavern
