The Barr Brothers Share Live Video For Defibrillation

Tuesday, 10 July 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

The Barr Brothers have posted a live video.

Defibrillation is the opening track from their 'Queens of the Breakers’ LP and is performed here with a full band plus an additional horn section at London's Union Chapel. Speaking about the performance, Brad Barr of the band said:

"It was one of our favourite shows and venues of that tour, a majestic 900 seat Gothic church built in the late 1800’s filled with one of the most generous audiences we could hope to play for. We hope this video transmits some of the joy and inspiration we felt that night."

The Barr Brothers return to the UK next week as part of a wider European summer tour which includes headline shows in Liverpool, Birmingham, Cambridge, and Bristol, as well as a festival set at Citadel in London and Larmer Tree in Salisbury.

The Barr Brothers Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat July 14 2018 - CAMBRIGDE Portland Arms
Mon July 16 2018 - BIRMINGHAM Glee Club
Wed July 18 2018 - LIVERPOOL Leaf Cafe

Since getting sober, John Grant has spent the best part of a decade developing a superb catalogue of camp, alternative electronica. The former Czars frontman’s fourth solo album, ‘Love is Magic’, is a punchy, ‘80s-infused grooveathon that presents highly characterful lyrics, retro flavours, tight arrangements and synthetic melodic motifs.
