James Arthur has rescheduled his Scarborough Open Air Theatre show.
The performance was scheduled to take place on July 26 but had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditons, including a series of lightning strikes.
The singer will now call at the venue on August 12. Tickets for the original show remain valid, though if you cannot make the new date you are advised to refer to your point of purchase. Tickets for the new show are also on sale now, priced from £25.00 plus fees.
Director of promoters Cuffe and Taylor, Peter Taylor said:
"We have worked really hard to be able to reschedule the date and we are delighted to be able to announce James will return to Scarborough OAT on Sunday August 12.
It was really disappointing to have to cancel on Thursday night, but we had no choice given the lightning strikes and potential danger to all at the arena. We do not take these decisions lightly, but the safety of audience members, staff and artists always comes first.
We want to thank everyone who came on Thursday night and braved the most atrocious weather for their understanding. We hope to see you here on August 12.”
Arthur will also perform at St Phillips Gate in Bristol and Birmingham's Digbeth Arena in August as part of the new Skyline Series.
James Arthur Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sun August 12 2018 - SCARBOROUGH Scarborough Open Air Theatre
Fri August 24 2018 - BRISTOL St Phillips Gate
Sat August 25 2018 - BIRMINGHAM Digbeth Arena
