Mistki Shares Glimmering 'Be The Cowboy' Ballad Two Slow Dancers

Thursday, 09 August 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Mitski has shared a new song.

Two Slow Dancers is a glimmering ballad with a sensational opening line: “Does it smell like a school gymnasium in here?” It builds slowly towards its crescendo, offering a more measured view of Mitski’s writing after the glorious maximalism of Geyser and Nobody.

All three singles will feature on her forthcoming LP, 'Be The Cowboy', which is due out on August 17, with a UK and Ireland tour set to follow in September.

Mitski Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Wed September 19 2018 - MANCHESTER Manchester Gorilla
Thu September 20 2018 - GLASGOW Saint Luke's
Sat September 22 2018 - DUBLIN Tivoli Theatre
Mon September 24 2018 - LEEDS Brudenell Social Club
Tue September 25 2018 - BRISTOL Trinity Arts Centre
Wed September 26 2018 - LONDON O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
