Ghost have enlisted Carpenter Brut for a remix of Dance Macabre.

Tobias Forge, Ghost’s mastermind, is a longtime fan of the mysterious French synthwave band, having invited them to join his group on the road in 2016. Carpenter Brut said:

"I've been a big fan of Ghost since their beginning. And when I had the opportunity to open for the band in 2016, I was super excited. Last April, I received an email from Tobias himself asking if I would remix ‘Dance Macabre,' and of course I accepted. I wanted to bring a funky and disco touch, not just confine myself to the pure synthwave style that would have been expected, but to make this remix a disco rock song and bring out the pop side of the band that is always underlying in their music."

Already one of the most popular tracks from the Swedish band's fourth studio album, 'Prequelle', Dance Macabre followed Rats as the second single from the record. Check out the reborn track and its accompanying artwork and animated visual, below.

Ghost will support the follow up to 2015's 'Meliora' and its accompanying 'Popestar' EP with their A Pale Tour Named Death run in North America this autumn and winter, including huge arena shows at the Forum in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Prior to that, Forge and band will return to the UK for a sold out performance at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London on September 9.

Once a band that disgorged Sabbathian doom metal splattered with gothic horror imagery, they have evolved into a rock spectacle that’s part pantomime, part musical and part Satanic disco.

Action Bronson - White Bronco (Album Review)
Fri 23 Nov 2018
This might sound absurd, at least at first, but Action Bronson could quite easily lay claim to being the perfect rap emcee. The New York heavyweight has strong projection, an addictive old-school flow, buckets full of charisma and wordplay on tap. The reason he's frequently compared to Ghostface Killah isn't just his cadence and vocal delivery–his verses often hark back to the Wu-Tang Clan legend in his pomp.
