Laura Jane Grace And The Devouring Mothers Announce Debut LP, Shares First Single

Laura Jane Grace has announced her first LP with a new band, the Devouring Mothers.
'Bought To Rot' will arrive on November 9 through Bloodshot Records. It finds Grace playing alongside her Against Me! drummer Atom Willard, along with Marc Jacob Hudson, a previous collaborator and sound engineer with the band.
The record's first single, Apocalypse Now (& Later), was written in Perth, Australia on her bandmate James Bowman's birthday, and he duly plays the song's guitar solo. The track sees Grace remain true to her punk roots and also revisiting some of the acoustic textures of early Against Me!.
Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers have announced the Midwest Takeover tour for November. They will head to Rock Island, Indianapolis, Lansing and Detroit before finishing up the run with three nights at different venues in Chicago. Tickets are on sale now.
