Caro Emerald To Celebrate 100th UK Show At London's Jazz Cafe

Caro Emerald will perform at the intimate Jazz Cafe in London this autumn, in addition to her 22-date UK tour.
The Dutch vocalist will celebrate her 100th show in the UK with a return to the Camden Town venue on October 18, the venue where she played her first UK show on August 25, 2011. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on September 7 priced from £22.50 plus fees.
The performance will slot in alongside already confirmed stops in Ipswich, Harrogate, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Gateshead, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Cambridge, Brighton, Southend, Bath, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Nottingham, Birmingham, Llandudno, Sheffield and a date at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall. Speaking about the new date, she said:
"It will be wonderful to return to the place where it all started for us in the UK. It was such an exciting time and I could only dream about what might happen. To look back over the past seven years... how warmly we were welcomed by Britain, and all that we have achieved since that first concert, is quite overwhelming."
The singer released her 'Emerald Island' EP last year, her first collection of new music since her second album, 'The Shocking MIss Emerald', which arrived in 2013.
