Lil Wayne Confirms Release Date And Artwork For New Album 'Tha Carter V'

Lil Wayne has confirmed the details of his long-awaited new album.
In a video post the rapper announced that 'Tha Carter V' will arrive on his birthday, September 27, with the record expected to drop at midnight and roll into September 28. Head here for the countdown clock and below for the album's artwork.
The record is his first full length since 2015's 'Free Weezy Album', though he has racked up a number of guest appearance on tracks from other artists over the last few years, including Drive Itself with Future, which appeared on the soundtrack for the new Superfly film.
