The Specials Announce New Album 'Encore' And Huge Spring UK Tour - Tickets On Sale November 2

The Specials will follow up the arrival of their new album with a huge UK tour.
The ska legends will release ‘Encore' on February 1. The date coincides with the 40th anniversary of the formation of the band and also the Two-Tone label, as well as marking 10 years since the band reformed.
The record was produced by founding members Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter with Danish musician and producer Torp Larsen. It’s the first time the trio have laid down new material together since their 1981 single Ghost Town. Drummer Kenrick Rowe plays on the record following the death of John Bradbury in 2015, while Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock also contributes.
The band will support the album with a UK tour between April 14 and May 16, calling in Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton, Plymouth, Exeter, Cardiff, Blackburn, Leicester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Carlisle, Glasgow, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Scarborough, Scunthorpe, York, Sheffield, Cambridge, Southend, Margate and London, where they'll play the O2 Academy Brixton.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 2.
