Line Up Announced For New York 'Tiny Changes' Scott Hutchison Tribute Concert

Tuesday, 30 October 2018 Written by Huw Baines

A tribute concert for Scott Hutchison will take place at Rough Trade in New York.

The Frightened Rabbit frontman died earlier this year, with Julien Baker, the National’s Aaron Dessner, Kevin Devine, the Hold Steady’s Craig Finn, and Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard among those set to take the stage on December 5 for a celebration of his songs called Tiny Changes.

The event takes its name from Head Rolls Off, a song from Frightened Rabbit’s ‘The Midnight Organ Fight’, while all proceeds will benefit the newly formed Scott Hutchison Fund. Tickets are on sale at 12pm ET on November 2.

Grant Hutchison, Scott’s brother and bandmate, said: “The Scott Hutchison Fund has been set up in memory of our beloved Scott. It will form the basis for a Mental Health Charity to be set up fully in the coming months. We hope to be able to help others the way Scott did with kindness, empathy and hope.”
