Eddie Izzard will bring his new comedy show to the UK and Ireland in September.
So far a total of 43 dates have been confirmed for the Wunderbar tour, including multiple performances in major cities, beginning on September 15 in Bexhill-on-Sea and running through to mid November. Head below for a full list of dates.
The announcement arrives five years after the comedian, activist and longtime Labour supporter unveiled his last tour, Force Majeure, with Izzard hinting that this new run might be one of his last before focusing more on a political career. He said:
"It is getting close to the time when I have to go off for a while to have a political life. But before I do that, I want to keep giving audiences around the world the best stand-up comedy shows that I can - especially at a time of Brexit-hate and Trump-hate.
"My new show is about everything from humans over the last 100,000 years to talking dogs and animal superheroes. I am looking forward to coming to see everyone again."
