The Nightmare Before Christmas live concert will head to the UK in 2019.
Tim Burton's Disney film will continue its 25th anniversary celebrations by heading to the UK for the first time, calling at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on December 2 and the SSE Arena Wembley, London on December 4. It will feature original cast members Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington, Catherine O'Hara as Sally and Ken Page as Oogie Boogie.
They will be accompanied by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in Glasgow and the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Wembley.
Elfman, who also composed the film's original score, said:
“Being able to perform “Nightmare” live in synch to the movie with a full orchestra was such a thrill at the sold out Hollywood Bowl shows. Having Catherine O’Hara and Ken Page to perform with me really made it a unique and magical experience. I’m happy to bring this special night to the UK for the first time in December."
Tickets go on sale at 10am on December 7.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Live In Concert Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Mon December 02 2019 - GLASGOW SSE Hydro
Wed December 04 2019 - LONDON SSE Arena Wembley
